St. Petersburg-born Pavel graduated from university with honours as an architect in 1986 and he gained local experience in Soviet-time Russia. His talents and skills were widely recognized, and nine years later, he joined a western building consultancy company where he worked on construction projects with the Finns and immersed himself in the fascinating world of logs. His house designs rapidly became popular, and he decided it was time to take a step as an independent architect. 

Today, Pavel Denisov Design is a full-service architectural firm that provides exterior and interior home design, as well as building-permit sourcing in Metro Vancouver and beyond. Pavel also manages construction wherever Kontio delivers the log frames. In the Kontio Architect Collaboration Network, Pavel is best known for his modern designs and creative use of Kontio SmartLog™. In addition to being an expert in modern SmartLog™ designs, he is experienced in designing contemporary, traditional, and timeless homes.
