The Kontio log house in Moscow is located along one of the world's most legendary highways, a place well-known for its luxury housing, the Rublyovskoe.

This log house was designed by Finnish architect Asko Lax in 2004 and was considered an avant-guard in early modern log house design at that time. 

The house is an iconic example of an early modern log house with timeless design. The steel staircase, railings and visible wooden structures continue the modern design inside.
