Kontio is introducing Kontio Log Academy, a webinar series designed to inspire architects and construction professionals with fresh insights into modern log architecture. The series explores how this traditional material can meet the demands of contemporary design and sustainable building from small-scale projects to large public spaces. 

The first webinar will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 14:00 (online) with the topic: “From Cabins to Campuses: The Evolution of Log Architecture – Case Monio”. Our keynote speaker, award-winning architect Mikki Ristola, will share the story behind the Monio school campus, a prime example of how log construction can transform public architecture into something innovative and sustainable. 

The webinars are free of charge and held in English, making them ideal for both international and domestic audiences. Each session lasts about 30 minutes and delivers practical examples and thought-provoking ideas without heavy theory.
