All Kontio logs are manufactured from Kontio Arctic Pine, slow‑growing northern pine known for its strength, durability and outstanding quality.

Laminated Logs – Breathable and Timeless

Kontio laminated logs are moisture‑permeable, meaning they “breathe moisture”, supporting healthy indoor air quality and long‑lasting structures. The laminated structure improves dimensional stability and reduces warping and cracking, making laminated logs a reliable and predictable building material. Precisely manufactured profiles enable accurate assembly, clean detailing and excellent airtightness. With their refined appearance and balanced performance, laminated logs are a versatile choice for both classic log architecture and contemporary designs.

Kontio SmartLog – Advanced Non‑Settling Log

Kontio SmartLog is Kontio’s innovative non‑settling log solution and the most advanced non‑settling log on the market. Designed for modern massive log architecture, SmartLog eliminates the constraints of traditional log settlement and does not settle as it dries, giving architects and builders far greater freedom in design. Manufactured from start to finish at Kontio’s factory in Pudasjärvi using high‑quality northern pine, its engineered structure ensures reliable performance even in changing conditions.

High Log Profile (275 mm)

A clean and minimalistic profile with a subtle bevel at the seams. The bevel enhances water runoff and improves the adhesion of surface treatments, even at the log edges. A factory‑installed, non‑shrinking sealing strip speeds up installation and ensures tight joints.
